Ephesians 4:30-32
King James Version (KJV)
"30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."
It's so hard not to get angry about things. So hard not to judge..not to hate when there is so much corruption and selfishness.
We're all selfish though aren't we? God said, "Though shalt not kill." but if a man was trying to hurt one of my children I'd have a tough time holding back. I'd do whatever it takes to protect them. Is that selfish? You bet, but I'm not ashamed of that kind of selfishness.
Recently my lovely wife bought me a necklace with a cross on it. I've wanted one my whole life, but I'm not big on buying myself jewelry. In fact, my wedding ring and this necklace will be all I wear. I don't even like watches.
A reminder...a constant, needed reminder of Him who died for us..
